1. Who is responsible
streamdev.gr ("Streamdev", "we") is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, use our contact page.
2. What we collect and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and (optional) name | To process your order, send payment details, stream credentials and sign-in links, and to answer you | Performance of the contract |
| Order details: plan, price, dates, payment confirmation | To provide the service, issue receipts and keep accounting records | Contract and legal obligation (tax law) |
| Contact form messages | To reply to your question | Legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps |
| IP address and technical logs (time, page, browser) | Security, preventing abuse and fixing faults | Legitimate interest |
| Your live video | To deliver it to your viewers | Performance of the contract |
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not run analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
3. Cookies
We use a single, strictly necessary cookie (streamdev_sid) that keeps you signed in to your dashboard for up to 7 days. It is set only when you sign in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so no cookie banner is needed. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
4. Your video and your viewers
We do not record your broadcasts. Short video segments exist only while you are live and are deleted automatically, and everything related to a stream is removed when its plan ends. When viewers watch your stream, our servers process their IP address to deliver the video and to count concurrent viewers; we do not identify them. If you embed the player on your site, your site's own privacy policy applies to your visitors.
5. Who processes data for us
- Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): our servers and storage are hosted in its data centres in the EU.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: delivers and protects the streamdev.gr website. It processes visitors' IP addresses under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our payment provider or bank, which processes the payment details you give them when you pay.
- The embeddable player loads the open-source Video.js library from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr, Fastly), which see the viewer's IP address.
6. How long we keep data
- Order and payment records: as long as Greek tax law requires (currently at least 5 years).
- Your customer account (email, name): for as long as you have orders with us; you can ask us to delete it at any time, except for records we must keep by law.
- Contact messages: up to 12 months after we answer.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
- Sign-in links expire after one use or a short time; sessions after 7 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you gave. Send your request through the contact page from the email address you used with us; we answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
8. Security
All pages and API calls use HTTPS. Stream keys are random and private to each order, sign-in uses one-time links instead of passwords, and access to our systems is restricted and monitored.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we publish the new version here with a new date. Significant changes are announced to customers by email.
